And if it is one thing the nations of Lebanon and Brazil have in common, it is a love of food - especially food that is delivered in a social environment.
With its extensive glassed frontage and large semi-open kitchen, this airy place is geared towards inclusion.
And as the food is delivered to your table, there’s also an amiable sharing vibe that makes Tete ideal for families and groups of friends.
It is something of a meat endurance test driven by Tete’s cheery waiting staff or passadors, who regularly appear beside the table, slicing or carving off as much as you want from the spit skewer.
It’s hard to say no to the arrival of juicy lamb, moist beef, succulent chicken and fish - unless you're vegan or vegetarian, of course. So our best advice is to pace yourself - as much as staff will let you.
That said, each table setting features a two-colour disc. Turn it to red, and the freshly-cooked churrasco prepared meats will halt. Flipped back to green and the service continues, even culminating in a specially prepared juicy grilled pineapple.
For lunch and dinner, an extensive list offers that mezze, salads, soups, savoury and sweet saj, toasted sandwiches, along with Brazilian and Arabic grills, a special steak menu, plus plenty of desserts and fresh juices and combinations.
While the focus is on fine Lebanese and Brazilian dining, the menu also includes burgers, pizzas and pasta - and breakfast is available from 10am, with Lebanese, Western and healthy options.
Tete is the latest concept developed and owned by serial restaurateur Gaber Kenger.
“At Tete, we have curated an experience which is more than dining,” he says of his latest venture.
With the cooler months upon us, seating outside is proving popular with the gondola-awaiting Ain Dubai big wheel almost dead ahead of the restaurant.
But inside also has plenty of seating, in the glassed off front and side area or the more traditional rear dining areas, one of which overlooks the busy kitchen.
Tete is a non-alcohol venue that can seat 200 and besides its meat credentials also prides itself on its shisha menu.
Tete is a treat on lots of levels.
