ONE thing Dubai is not short of this Ramadan is its range of iftar options. And, for some, that means the chance to try out new locations as they break their fast – or simply join in this special season.  IF iftar is as much about rewarding yourself as it is refreshment and sustenance then the buffet at The St Regis Dubai scores well on all counts.

NEW hotels are springing up all over Dubai – as always – but Motor City recently got its first.  NEW ARRIVAL: Motor City in Dubailand recently landed its first hotel - and it is a place that is hard to miss at night And while the Park Inn by Radisson may have been open barely a few months, it has already added its name to the busy city iftar circuit this Ramadan.
GIVEN the huge number of places you could partake in iftar this Ramadan local authenticity might be a good factor to decide your choice of venue. In our third review of what will be available this coming holy month, we sample a quality spread at Emirati restaurant Seven Sands.  WE live in the UAE, Ramadan is almost upon us and the iftar options seem to be growing by the day.
TRYING to pick an iftar over Ramadan could prove a tough one as the choices are mounting up. In the second of our iftar previews we head 'in-land' for a fine feed in Dubai Production City aka IMPZ.  MODERN DINING: Red Diamond is where you'll find the Ghaya Grand Hotel's iftar offering this Ramadan Away from the obvious landmark hotels and restaurants some lesser-known names are set to serve up a fast-breaking buffet that could rival the more obvious options.
One of those comes courtesy of Ghaya Grand Hotel, away from the bright lights of the Dubai Marina or Downtown Dubai, at the southern end of the 44. NOT content with powering one of Dubai’s best restaurants Nick Alvis and Scott Price have gone and created the kind of local pub away from home that some of us crave. We’ll be checking out some different selections for those breaking their fast or simply wanting to try a new venue during this special time of year in Dubai.
