And it went live with its weekly drunch deal last Saturday, enabling guests to lubricate from 5-7pm for AED149 per person.

While food isn’t included in the drunch deal, Factory has an al a carte menu with a mix of small plates and sharing platters through to hearty food options, including steaks, burgers and a tasty seared salmon with aji chilli risotto that ticked the flavour box, if a little on the runny side. There are a couple of food options that will be familiar to McGettigan’s regulars, but this imaginative menu features plenty of innovative takes on some popular staples and international crowd pleasers, such as curry chicken schnitzel, moussaka shepherd's pie and charcoal croquettes.
As for the venue itself, there’s a casual yet stylish vibe backed up by steel and wood finishes, neon signs, a wall of wooden whisky barrels and shelves littered with bygone tech ranging from vintage typewriters and microscopes through to old electric meters and sewing machines. A handful of widescreen TVs dotted around the place cater to sports fans.

With spacious indoor and outdoor seating available, this enticing gastropub contrasts nicely with the slick white and beige palate of the main Hilton lobby and the boardwalk chic of nearby Palm Beach.
