Long a regular address for some of Dubai’s discerning nightowls, and well-researched tourists, 360° Dubai offers some great views of the Beach Road coastline, including Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab.
But the circular venue’s upstairs mixologists are offering plenty to distract you from the sights with a range of drinks with colour and imagination.
Of course, rehydration is only half the story, and the 360° Dubai kitchen is tendering some tasty sharing plates to accompany the fancy fluids and happy hour prices.
Notably, there’s some plump sushi on offer alongside juicy sliders and decent nachos; comfort food if ever you needed it. Access is still via Jumeirah Beach Hotel - via buggy or by foot along the pier.
40 Kong has re-opened atop The H Hotel with a new look and some fresh food offerings.
While stunning views are still available in one corner and beyond the bar, there’s a more intimate feel to the high-rise hangout.
Discreet areas provide privacy for couples or collective space for groups of friends, while the night sky is visible from wherever you stand or grab a seat.
Among new elements in the design is an evergreen jungle wall, teased up by the 40 Kong reception lobby where minimalist modern blends with flourishes of green.
You land here, on the 38th floor, via a dedicated elevator from ground level before taking a second, glass-walled lift to the venue deck.
40 Kong favorites such as garden roll sushi and rock shrimp tempura have survived the revamp. Our sampling of the 40 Kong comeback revealed some epic sliders (not obsessed with sliders, honestly).
