BLONDE AMBITION: Ellie Goulding is no stranger to UAE audiences
Blonde chart regular Ellie Goulding, festival favourites Thirty Seconds To Mars and smooth mover Jason Derulo supply the sounds for a trio of huge gig fixtures.
Urban music’s current Mr ‘can do no wrong’ hits the stage in a few hours time in the first of the shows, brought to you by du Live! in association with HTC.
The slick American arrives at Dubai World Trade Centre with a locker full of radio-hammering hits as well as newer songs from latest album ‘Everything Is 4’.
At 25, Derulo is one of his genre’s biggest players, courtesy of big-sellers ‘Want To Want Me’, ‘Whatcha Say’ and the unstoppable ‘Talk Dirty’.
On stage he is often praised as a premier showman with the dance moves to back up the soulful vocals and chunky beats – all in spite of breaking his neck in 2012 while attempting a backflip.
Opening the show is Duabi-based Moroccan rapper and MC Two Tone.

She’s been hogging UAE airwaves with ballad ‘Love Me Like You Do’ this summer, but she’s likely to be getting the big room moving with ‘Burn’, ‘Anything Could Happen’ and breakthrough hit ‘Lights’.
Fans can also expect to hear new song ‘On My Mind’, debuted at the recent Apple Music Festival.
