Designed for superior sailing comfort, it is a 90ft seafaring vessel capable of cruising the spectacular Musandam fjords at a comfortable 10 knots.
The dhow was developed by the renowned resort, and its team of specialist designers, to provide a relaxed yet luxurious feel in tune with its roots at Zighy Bay.
“The experience is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a mini getaway,” says a spokesman.
“With a central air-conditioned saloon, two sun decks, multiple dining areas and a large open galley, Dhahab is perfect for a relaxing break.”
Six Senses Zighy Bay is offering a three-day, two-night tailor-made itinerary.
Time aboard can be spent kayaking, fishing, beach combing, swimming or relaxing.
“There are options for cooking classes with your chef, diving or even having a spa therapist aboard,” says the resort.
“This beautiful vessel is equipped with kayaks, fishing and diving equipment, butler service and a chef to prepare all your meals in an open central galley as well as a speedboat for additional exploration.”
Aaron McGrath, Six Senses Zighy Bay general manager, added: “We are thrilled to launch this beautifully restored classic dhow to our guests.
“We are committed to offering unforgettable memories, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy this breathtaking experience.”
SIX Senses Zighy Bay offers a bespoke itinerary aboard the Dhahab, priced at USD 22,000.
