MustDoDubai pulled on the old glad rags and went across town to check out the stylish opening fixture of the annual Dubai Racing Carnival.
Dubai Racing Club has scheduled 16 dates of world-class race meets this season, with the second one taking place this Friday (November 22).
The impressive venue is again the much revered setting for some of the best equestrian action - and with it a compelling lineup of new-look hospitality packages.
After all, there’s little better way to study the form book or see the action than with a few refreshments.
Although you can order off menu and from the bar, the Parade Ring Lounge Night Brunch offers great value and uninterrupted enjoyment.
Outside is the hub of the action, where guests are perfectly positioned to witness the horses and riders.
Inside there’s live entertainment and a buffet-style feast which crosses a range of continents with delicious salads, meats, a pasta station and all-too moreish desserts.
It makes for a fine date night or an evening out with friends, family or colleagues - whether they are equestrian enthusiasts, horse racing experts, or simply seeking a different social experience.
Dubai Racing Club has put together packages that blend sporting thrills and outstanding hospitality, casual comfort or luxurious five-star experiences.
Some of the top international jockeys and horses from the UAE and further afield are lined up for each meeting, all chasing racing glory and some lucrative prize money.
Hospitality packages are available to spectators throughout the season for race meetings happening on Fridays until the end of March.
These include three Feature Days… on December 20, Santa and and pals will spread winter cheer at Festive Friday, while on January 24 there’s a chance to step out in (even more) style for Fashion Friday. March 1 is Emirates Super Saturday, bringing some serious stakes action.
The season culminates in the spectacular Dubai World Cup meeting, on Saturday April 5.
